I wanted a longer pair of shorts for this trip. While the description notes a rear stretch panel, it is not nearly large enough nor in the right area to permit comfortable wear during biking. I ordered the sz 28 and the waist fits perfect, but the legs are tight. Because of the length, it would be impossible to bike in them. I am 5'4" and 130# with heavier thighs, so if you are thin they may be fine. I will be returning these and not re-ordering a larger size.

I usually wear 29" waist, had to get these shorts in a 26" waist and they're still a little roomy. And there isn't a liner in the black ones. The purple ones had a liner and looking closer at the descriptions this is stated.
