5.0 out of 5 stars. As expectedReviewed by Scout Seward Bounder from Arizona on Monday, July 25, 2016Love these boots! The soles are leather, which is typical of a well made cowboy boot. Just the smallest bit of shuffling on a rough surface takes away the initial slickness of the sole. The leather upper is soft and comfortable. Wish I'd gotten the brown ones too.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Sadly disappointingReviewed by LMc from Columbia MD on Friday, May 27, 2016I love my Frye boots, and I so was all set to love these shoes. But, there were three major problems with them. The first was fixable -- since I planned to wear these with socks, I should have sized up, just as I did with my Frye boots. So, failing to do that was my bad. The second problem was also partially self-inflicted, in the sense that I should have known this style of clog would not work for me. I have never found these kind of half-cup backs to be comfortable -- the problem is that my foot half-slips out of the shoe, and lands awkwardly on the back cup. Ouch. Despite my hope that these would somehow be different, they (probably like quite predictably) were not. The third problem I blame entirely on Frye...the soles were so insanely slippery that I was afraid I would hurt myself if I actually tried to walk in them. Perhaps this is also fixable, but it was the last nail in the coffin for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars. too longReviewed by LGW from Michigan on Thursday, May 19, 2016These are really pretty shoes, but are way too long. Ordered my normal size, and they were ?? at least an inch too long. Would have ordered a smaller size, but they are almost too tight in this size. :-( Would be great for someone with really narrow feet. - But, order down.
