The feather design on this shoe would never belie the fact that they are synthetic. The first time I wore them, a friend said to me, "Why are you wearing shoes with feathers in the rain?" That told me everything I needed to know about the "look." What surprised me, though, was how very comfortable and light they are. These shoes just mold to my feet and I don't feel like I am wearing a great rain - or shine - shoe.
