Unfortunately for my wife, having less than a 5' 6" frame means the 'waistline' of this jacket hits her well below where it should, meaning far too long and designed for a taller woman. The hood was rather large as well, even with the extra material folded back. Overall, a beautiful jacket, just marred with a slightly frumpy fit and definitely not designed with the shorter woman in mind.
