4.0 out of 5 stars. This is what I was looking for, pretty much.Reviewed by Anonymous from San Francisco, CA on Sunday, December 11, 2016I initially wanted the REI La Selva jacket, but it was out of my budget. Looking for something waterproof to go to work in and travel in.
I'm 5'4" 120lbs 34B and usually wear size S. In general, I liked the quality of the jacket and the style. I bought the red one in size medium and the black one in size small. I was planning on returning one but I ended up keeping both because I liked the visibility and cheerfulness of the red (which I'll use for travel and at home), and also liked the versatility of the black (which I'll use for work).
Things I like: quality, color, style (not overly sporty), performance of fabric, cinchable waist, removable liner, expandable cuffs, and subtle branding.
Things I don't like: hood is too big and not removable, liner is not attractive on it's own and is not very warm, either, pockets aren't very warm (mesh-lined, which I'm sure has it's own benefits), range of motion is VERY limited in chest/arms. AVOID this jacket if you have a large chest or wide shoulders or need full range of motion!
Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. I sometimes keep the liner in and sometimes I wear my Patagonia nano-puff jacket, or a down vest underneath. It fits, even in the size small! AND it doesn't look as tight as in the picture on myself. Perhaps the model is bustier than I am.
