It's really comfortable and warm from mid 30's to low 60's. I would recommend layering for the low 30's because I get a little chilly unless I'm doing something really active. It's tapered so consider sizing up so you can get a sweater or fleece underneath. The jacket is very stylish and can be warn around town. The performance is excellent. It gets warm but breaths well. It has excellent wind protection. Finally, the jacket can be easily packed into it's own pocket (and he used as a pillow) or the included stuff sack. Adidas Outdoor is quickly becoming my favorite outdoor brand.
