  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great sweater, runs quite large

I really like this sweater! It's a light sweater that drapes nicely. I originally ordered a Medium but had to exchange it for a Small. As other reviewers have noted, it runs quite large.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. light weight, very warm

This sweater is exactly what I wanted. I wear it with a t-shirt (to keep my core warm) and find this very comfortable for indoor wear without the bulk. The merino wool is warm, the sleeves are a perfect length and slightly tapered (so they push up easily). The "light melange" is a light silvery-blue color (definitely NOT gray). I am 5"6" and weigh 138#, the size M (I wear a size 8) is a perfect fit. This sweater hangs nicely without being form fitting. Ottoman knit is beautiful and can dress up or down with ease.

Very comfortable and soft, flattering without being tight, and long enough to wear with leggings or jeans.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. nice drape & fit

Lightweight but warm with good fit over the hips. My only complaint is that it snagged one of the first times I wore it. The black also picks up and shows lint--but that's pretty typical of a black sweater.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Soft and flattering staple that runs big

According to the sizing, I ordered a large, but it was swimming on me. Trying a medium and hope it works because you can't beat the price for this nice quality classic staple.

About Tahari

With less than a hundred dollars to his name, Elie Tahari moved to New York City from Israel in order to follow his dream of starting a business. After working a job at a clothing boutique in Greenwich Village in the early ‘70s, Tahari began designing his own clothing. Beginning with the original collection of Elie Tahari dresses, the still nascent clothing mogul soon became one of the first designers to open a boutique on the now-famous Madison Avenue in 1974. Today, with stores in New York, Newport Beach, Las Vegas, Dallas and many more, Elie Tahari clothing has grown to become one of the most respected names in the designer apparel industry.
