I wear these for instructing skiing, and they are easy on and off to help kids with various things. I like the cuff strap so I don't have to hold on to them. I'm usually a 7 (med) and bought the large. It's a bit big, so I'd say the size runs true. However, mittens are more forgiving with size, so it doesn't bother me to have them a tad large.

They even have a strap you can connect to your arms under your coat that allows to to slip them off without dropping the mittens. They just hang at your side until you are ready to put them on again. I usually have to use hand warmers inside of my gloves to keep my hands warm, but these are very well insulated and kept my fingers toasty! On the flip side, my hands actually got sweaty when I wore them snowshoeing.
