5.0 out of 5 stars. Warmth when neededVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ron from NC on Tuesday, March 5, 2019These pants are great for the cold weather. I live in an area where the temps fluctuate. We frequently deal with nor'easters which are obviously cold. Cold! These pants, along with the tops, are great to continue work outside when temps stay less than 50 deg. plus a windchill.

5.0 out of 5 stars. ExcellentReviewed by OwenM from AL on Friday, February 1, 2019Probably the best heavyweight baselayer available for the price. I use Patagonia's Capilene for light and midweight baselayers, but will be trying Terramar's 2.0 when it comes time to reload on midweights. Have had lots(couple dozen, total) of Terramar boxer briefs and lightweight synthetic shirts, and am yet to feel disappointed.
I'd give the previous version of these 4-5 stars(5yrs occasional wear, pilling the only issue, excellent performance), and these are an improvement, with a smoother face to reduce pilling, larger grids, and a wider, presumably more durable, waistband.
Medium should be good for anyone who is 32-34" in waist and inseam. I wear 32-33/30 with relaxed fit in jeans due to muscular thighs/glutes. These are long due to my short inseam, but otherwise a great fit.

4.0 out of 5 stars. NiceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Maine on Monday, January 7, 2019Nice snug fit (me: 34" waist, 32" inseam). Really warm. Exterior very 'slippery', so outer garments slide when you bend/kneel without clawing at your waist.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome...as all TerramarVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Gainesville on Wednesday, December 19, 2018I'm a backpack hiker/camper, who goes 4-7 days between refuels. When I was putting gear together, I went with Smartwool base layers as that's what everyone recommends for weight and wicking. I never really liked them, and ended up buying a Ecolator shirt for general winter wear. Now, all my baselayers are Terramar. They may not be as light weight as wool, but they're warmer, more comfortable, fit better, and have the same breathability and wicking. Love these.

4.0 out of 5 stars. great value, good product lineVerified Buyer Reviewed by rainbowtrout3 from Newyork on Monday, December 10, 2018These base layer pants are a great value . They keep me about as warm as the Cabela's ECWCS base layers at each weight . I have mid and heavy weight in each brand. The Terramar are about one third the price of the Cabela's and do the job of keeping me warm well at their respective temp. recommendations. The Terramar brand is not as durable though and start to pill very soon after the first use. The Cabela's do not pill but I expect to get good use from them for years to come.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Inseam EnvyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Near Portland Oregon on Monday, January 30, 2017Materials and construction are up to Terramar's high standards, but the length is cut for someone with 34" inseams, not my 30" stubs. At this excellent price, I'll keep them for winter use indoors.
