it is true the inseam is a little long but you need that to cover your ski boot. i wish the ventilation zip on the legs was a little longer but it is enough. -

After a bit of research (after I ordered) I discovered they are more oriented for backcountry skiing /ski touring. As such they have a bulky loose fit and wide leg openings to accommodate ski boots. The material felt substantial and I like the leg vents for dumping heat.
Unfortunately I ordered the Large hoping they would fit my 33x32 size with base layers on. They were much too loose in the waist (and throughout the leg) for my use. I returned them. If they fit you and you are looking for ski touring pants they seem awesome at this price. -

Almost ski pant fit in the lower leg. I'm sure the's are bomber for harsh use but it's heavy weight and lack of waterproof puts it in a strange category by itself. Not great for either.
