A size 8 (UK) = US XS, EU 36, JPN 9. While this is their error, customer service will tell you to return it and that Returns department will review decide if they should send you the correct size and then they hang up - I'm not happy with Sierra Trading Post customer service.
I think the Rab top would have been great.
I submitted an image of the sizing, hopefully the approve the image and you can order the correct size. -
