Closeouts. Light and warm, Rab's Strata hooded jacket makes an ideal mid- or outer-layer for heart-pumping activity in cold temperatures. The Pertex® Microlight fabric is insulated with 80g breathable, moisture-wicking and windproof Polartec® insulation. The lining combines breathable mesh with super-smooth polyester for just-right warmth, and the hood easily rolls away when it's not needed.

I have found Rab products to always be quite warm and fit well as long as you always order ONE SIZE UP. They are consistent in that sizing. The jacket is a bit "crinkly" sounding and slick to the touch, but I think that makes it particularly suited to layering. I have a simlar jacket from patagonia (paid 3x as much, but I also love it) and if there is any wind, the RAB jacket is much warmer. I will be using this jacket a lot.
