For being "CoolMax" and moisture regulating my feet were sweating buckets while even standing much less walking or running. After a trail run in mid-60s temperatures (F) I couldn't imagine going out again with these any warmer than 50 degrees.
Was hoping to find a cheaper option to Smartwool or Icebreaker but I guess I'm headed back to them -

That said, these socks are well padded so they're not suitable for tight fitting shoes. Fashion mags are now showing men wearing socks with their sandals so these socks would work in that capacity; the color and weave will tend to hide grime.

These stretch more than others causing some slide and to bunch up. I'm a chef and wear with clogs. Though they won't work with clogs (too much slide) they will be great in more confined running shoes.
