Really nice shellVerified Buyer Reviewed by RunBikeHike from New England on Tuesday, November 1, 2016This is a nice shell jacket that I had wanted to try because I love La Sportiva – they're a high quality brand that I know well from wearing their hiking boots and shoes. This jacket was their first hardshell jacket. Some things I like: 1) the Gore Tex Active membrane breathes more easily than normal gore tex, so it's great for higher output activities. 2) It's well made, with nice two-way zippers that I love. 3) The one front pocket is spacious. 4) The chin area is lines with soft fleece. 5) it's really lightweight but still seems strongly made and performs really well in rain. Some things I wish were different, in order of importance: the hood lacks front adjusters, and doesn't close as much as I'd want; there are no pit zips and the arms are cut without quite enough range of motion under the arms; I'd want another pocket or two. Overall it's a beautifully made jacket with distinctive La Sportiva styling – the "cool factor" is high with this great shell!
