I checked the sizing on the brand's website & ordered a Small. The front side fit perfectly, but there wasn't enough fabric between the side seams in the back. The effect was that it was extremely form fitting in the back, which frankly looked ridiculous. I do not have a large or bubble behind. Obviously, a larger size would not have worked. Too bad, because I liked the dress very much & had to return it & pay postage to do so..

I ordered a small ( my usual size is a XS to SM), but although I could get the dress on, it was too tight across the chest and because it is a wrap dress, the "V" neckline came so low, that I would have had to wear a camisole underneath.
I ordered a MED, and it fit just right.
The length is just above the knee, and the tie comes just under the bustline
