5.0 out of 5 stars. If you are sensitive to bright light try these!

I drive a lot and have always been sensitive to bright light. After years of squinting through nice lenses from Hobie, Maui Jim and Ray Ban, I was convinced I was going to have to get a very dark pair of mountaineering glasses just to stop the squinting. While doing a little homework on mountaineering glasses, I read about these photo-chromatic 'Falcon' lenses on the Julbo site. According to the site, they are specifically designed with driving and eye fatigue in mind, so I figured I would give them a try as a last ditch effort before going to something super dark.. The first day I got them I put them on and drove home. My reaction: OH MY GAWD!!... they are not dark, but they work. I don't know how they work: magic, pixy-dust, dark sorcery...whatever it is: IT WORKS!. The squinting is totally gone and yet, the lenses aren't all that dark. Images are clear and crisp..and the clouds..oh my.. the glorious clouds... are beautiful through these lenses. If you've been seeking a solution for your sensitive eyes and constant squinting, try the Falcon lenses and return them if you don't love them. They are the best driving lenses I have ever had. That you Julbo.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Favorite Sunglasses in Years

My trusted Oakley Jupiter Squared sunglasses broke in half in my duffel bag last month and superglue attempts to restore them to whole have been mixed. To have a pair of backups, I decided to give this a shot. So glad I did! These are snug to my head and do a wonderful job of dimming the bright light that I drive into each morning. For reference, I wear a 7 3/4 hat, so people with smaller heads might find these too large.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great Lenses

The lenses on these are amazing. Because of that I wanted to like these but they just did not fit my face well. Too wide for my face & they seem to have a large nose bridge so they would never sit where they should. I have a smaller face though, they would likely work for someone more average size. It would be helpful if STP gave more detailed measurements for sunglasses.
