3.0 out of 5 stars. No archVerified Buyer Reviewed by Arron T from Washington State on Thursday, April 6, 2017These shoes are built well, but there is no arch support and the insoles are glued in so that makes it difficult to replace with your own. The finish is fine. Size is what I would expect.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Descent ShoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Donnie the Blind Runner from West Virginia. on Sunday, April 2, 2017Overall good shoe, but a little narrow in the toe. The grip was good though and they did stand up to the rugged trail. I can't give a five star because I have worn better shoes though. But for the price, they are a good shoe.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Fila running shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Georgia and soon to be in Florida in few months on Thursday, March 2, 2017Good looks but I can contribute more better style and design (Let me have some funds to make my prototype shoes). Fila shoes can do better treads and tracking for better ground safety. Shoes pads needed more cushion for better conform Ness and less legs.and back problem. Love the reflectors.behind the shoes.for safety purposes.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice but...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Duke from NY on Tuesday, January 31, 2017I like these but have yet to do more than try them on - too cold.
On sizing, many say size up or very small - my take is a bit small. I'm usually a 9.5 so followed advice and got a 10.5. A 10 would have worked well.
Also, description is high arch is wrong, the footbed is quite flat. I prefer higher arch, so will use a footbed/ The insole included is NOT glued in. Keep in mind, if you do this, the extra size is reduced.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great valueVerified Buyer Reviewed by Wannabe Ski Bum from Utah on Monday, January 23, 2017Bought these for my 13 year-old twin boys. I loved the fact that they come in different colors (no fighting over who's shoes they are...), the boys love the way they feel. True to size, good grip on the gym floor, comfortable for all day wear. Excellent value from STP.

5.0 out of 5 stars. durablity and comfortReviewed by ozrk_travlr from Arkansas on Friday, December 23, 2016I just received my second pair of these. These shoes hold up very well for me. I wore my first pair so much the soles wore down to almost nothing after almost 3 years of frequent wear. The thing is, they never fell apart. The upper portion of the shoe has held together, nothing frayed, nothing cracked, not even a tear nor seam has come loose. They maintained their comfort too. The only thing I notice is that they run smaller compared to other brands of shoes I've had. I've gone up one whole size with these, but I also wear 1/2 length insoles/ inserts for added support.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Fila Ascente 8 Trail Running ShoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Virginia on Thursday, September 1, 2016I bought this shoes for my husband for work. Because of issues with his foot he can’t wear dress shoes anymore to work. Fit as expected in terms of length and width. I bought him a size 10. Nice, low key color scheme for work. My biggest complaint is that the footbeds are just flat stamp-cut foam with no contour or arch support. They are also glued into the shoe. Had I known this, I just would have ordered a pair a half size larger so my husband would have enough room to insert a contoured arch support orthotic without making the shoes too tight.
The other minor disappointment is that there is a lot of silver stitching on the outside of the shoe that looks like it could be and should be reflective, but it is not. I suppose most "trail running" is done on trails where there are no automobile headlights to light up the reflective accents on your shoes. However for the price, it is a great shoe. My husband says they are very comfortable. He is happy them and that is the most important thing. -
