4.0 out of 5 stars. Great boot!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Wilder person from UT on Thursday, December 13, 2018These are great boots! They are sturdy, stiff (enough for mountaineering), and relatively lightweight.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Like them so farVerified Buyer Reviewed by Daniel from WYOMING on Sunday, September 2, 2018I've only wore them once. But so far they are very comfortable. With the stiff soles they should dig in while climbing steep hills, my buddy has a pair and loves them, he says it's like having hooves and I can see it. I look forward to using them this year for hunting.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Summit right out of the boxVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Washington on Monday, July 16, 2018Great fit and comfortable boot. Plenty of room in toe box for running socks under thick wool socks. Sizing seems to be right on. I did have mole skin on both my heels just in case. Wore them for a quick hike up heliotrope to get a feel for correct lacing tightness. Then summited mt adams next weekend. Boots feel great going up or down with or without crampons.

4.0 out of 5 stars. BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by LM the old man from Indiana on Tuesday, June 5, 2018They appear to be solid boots. I've been asked to write this review shortly after I received the boots. They look good and feel good but I haven't given them any real world test yet, ask me in two months and I can give a better assessment.

5.0 out of 5 stars. AscenderVerified Buyer Reviewed by Arizona Trophy Outfitters from Arizona on Thursday, April 20, 2017I love solo boots I have had several different pairs, I bought these after the Scarpa pair I bought that look similar were too wide around the ankle and never got tight, and they were really big overall. The one thing I noticed different about this pair compared to the sizing of the other asolo neutron-type shoes is these do run a little big. I noticed the all leather asolo boots run a have size small so I order 11 in those and the other synthetic run right on I wear 10.5, so i figured with these I might have to order 11 being mountaineer type boots but I ordered 10.5 and they are like an 11 which is perfect for bigger socks, or foot swelling after a long day. the fit is amazing, blew Scarpa away on my foot.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love the Ascenders!Reviewed by Anonymous from Massachusetts on Sunday, March 5, 2017Got them on Friday and had them on the trail on Saturday in Vermont on a -30 day in fresh powder and they were fantastic. I had purchased some of the Asolo F95's for summer hiking and they have been great so I decided to try another line for winter. They fit like perfectly out of the box. I wear a 9+ and got the 9.5's, with heavy winter socks they are perfect. I would recommend adding a footbed but otherwise I found them to be true to size and very comfortable. Most mountaineering boots can be stiff and these do have some stiffness but not like plastics. Had them on for 10 hours without any problems, no hot spots no cold toes and my feet stayed dried. Wore them with snowshoes but didnt try crampons yet but they should be fine

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Roycroft from Massachusetts on Tuesday, February 21, 2017To date the boots have been terrific. I finally wore out an old favorite pair and jumped into these. I have worn through a half dozen pair of Asolo approach shoes and these boots are just as good. Great support for my sometimes weak ankles. Very pleased
