The addition of the organic cotton gives it a slight canvas feel, but maybe a nice change from an all nylon or polyester material. It's a little stiff but not noisy when you move with it. The lack of adjustable cuffs is a little strange. Overall, a nice looking jacket that, despite some flaws, seems well made and is becoming a favorite to wear hiking.

I found it again when in the Sierra Trading Post store and was glad I had not purchased. It feels like it is made from the same material as my grill cover and would definitely require a long sleeve shirt or other fleece to keep the fabric from making skin contact. The sleeves do not have velcro cuffs and overall a very simple/ no frills jacket. I expected something nicer from Jack Wolfskin as other products I have purchased were exceptional.
