I bought the black for an upcoming trip and was so surprised by them. I was expecting a heavier, clunkier boot, but these are much lighter than I thought and are very high quality. They look so much more fashionable than some of the other rain/snowproof boots I was considering, and they are warm and comfortable. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Good boots, wrong descriptionReviewed by RadaK from New Jersey on Thursday, November 3, 2016I sadly had to return those, mainly for one reason: they DO NOT have natural wool lining, as it states in the description. You can clearly see this on their tag. Instead, they are lined in plush, so I don't think they would be as warm as i wanted them to be. I bought another Henri Pierre model from here recently (Item #150HJ, the Jaki boots),and those DO have wool lining, and are really warm. Overall I think these Joanas are very well made, sturdy, the zipper is great, and they are comfortable, although they have less arch support than the other model. They look really cute and are soft around the ankle, so walking in them is comfy. I f you're not stuck on a natural wool lining, they might be great for you.
