They help keep my feet nice and warm. Of course, rain stopped just before I received them, so I haven't had a chance to test out the waterproof element, but so far, I love them. Nice and warm, and a little heel that makes them feel feminine. Wonderful.

Insole is neutral (not supportive in arch) and with orthotics these might have been fine. Returning only because heel and lack of support, really wish these boots had been right for me.

They are very cute with a bit of a heel and so comfortable. I did not find them super warm but then again, my feet generally run cold. I had them on for the car ride to and from Lake Tahoe area from Sacramento (about 2 hrs each way) - on the way back since my feet were cold from skiing, it took awhile for them to warm up. This made me invest in toe warmers so hopefully next time I'll have warmer feet. I think they'll be great for going out in a mountain town and not be in a heavy, rugged looking boot.
