It is lightweight and comfortable. The fleece alone is great to wear when it is a little too cool for a long sleeve shirt alone. The outer shell is great for the rain and I did not get hot wearing it.
The shell color is a navy blue like the picture on the website. The orange is darker than the picture - closer to a burnt orange. The fleece is also a little darker than the picture.
My only complaint is the pockets on the fleece are mesh backed and my keys have hung up in it. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone. -

At least the one that I sent back I was able to un-zip once and put it on before its zipper got caught in the fabric. I had to pull it off over my head so I could return it.
I will say I'm a huge TNF fan, I have at least 7 pairs of there ski pants and at least that number of ski jackets over the last 25 + years. I'm really disappointed with this jackets zipper. This jacket was going to be my go to jacket for 3 season's, it was going to replace my black TNF shell I have been wearing for over 12 years that is getting a little tight now.
I'll be contacting TNF next to let them know how up happy I am.

Would give 5 stars if it had a front 2 way zipper given that it is not a short coat, this makes it tight to sit without unzipping. Would also like a stowable hood. Under $100 worth buying.

He is quite happy with the appearance, fit and 3-in-1 style. His only complaint is the lack of venting (underarm zippers) for use while skiing but this is relatively minor as I think he will get a great deal of use out of both the 2 components and the combined jacket. He is 5'8" but a very athletic build and ordered the L; great fit. Great price as always at STP!

Only complaint I have is if you are wearing long sleeves and put the jacket on with the fleece inside the fabric will catch a little bit as you put it on. Once you adjust yourself it doesn't bunch back up and with just the shell this problem does not happen at all. Have not had it in the rain yet but first impressions are very good. I have a NF soft shell, down jacket, and now this 3 in 1. The down zips into the shell as well. Very pleased.
