5.0 out of 5 stars. Legs long enough - Waist & Pad very comfotable

Have worn these shorts twice now - only about 30 mile rides but they have been all over comfortable. I like the fit of the legs which do not make my thighs look like sausages. Would recommend.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. smaller than other PI smalls

The fabric and chamois on these shorts seemed good (chamois is similar to the old Pearl Izumi Ultrasensor shorts, in case that's helpful). These ran smaller/tighter than other Pearl Izumi shorts I own -- and the waist came up really high (to my belly button), which would be really uncomfortable on the bike, I think. But I am short, so if you are long-waisted, these might work for you. Consider sizing up from your regular PI size.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Great Bike Short - Tight Fit

I own several pairs of Pearl Izumi cycling shorts and reliably wear size medium (5'7", 120 lbs). These shorts are well constructed and the extra length is great. While I was able to pull them on, these shorts were just too restrictive to wear comfortably for any period of time. Perhaps if they become available in a large I'll give them another try.

I love the colorful side panel on these shorts. I bought a medium and I’m typically a size 5-6. They fit perfect.

I bought these for my wife and she loves them. She uses them for multiple types of riding: noodling around town, riding up Teton Pass, Bikepacking sections of the Great Divide Mountain Bike Trail, and touring longer distances. She says they are the most comfortable shorts ever. PI almost always pleases.

About Pearl Izumi

Before Kinji Shimizu created the first Pearl Izumi cycling apparel, he spent nearly seven days a week on his bike delivering 90 pounds of clothes to customers. He frequently pedaled 38 miles a day. Years later, after his son received a special Italian-made cycling jersey, Kinji was inspired to start creating his own using the best fabrics he could find. The result soon evolved into the Pearl Izumi brand. In the five decades since, the company Kinji founded has continued working hard to make the best gear possible for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors. From incredibly lightweight Pearl Izumi shoes to sleek, comfortable Pearl Izumi running apparel, few other brands have the same relentless drive toward innovation as Pearl Izumi.
