From the arch to the toes, the shoe was extremely narrow. For anyone concerned with fit, I recommend going a half size up and wearing thicker socks to compensate for the loose heel. They are perfect for work or play and go with just about anything. I would not consider them walking shoes but they are comfy enough that if you have to be on your feet a lot they give you enough support. I would certainly buy these again. I usually wear between a 7.5 and 8 size shoe, and the 8 is perfect.
