Hardest rain I have ever worked in and still bone dry. I think it runs slightly large so it is perfect for wearing a fleece jacket underneath for added warmth. Very nice looking and extremely comfortable. Most importantly, it does what it is supposed to do...keep me dry! Perfect accessory pocket locations and pocket size. Very useful.

Perfect fit for me, I'm 6' 200 lbs and normally for a shell I wear an xl and this fits perfectly. It has a lot of pockets, which I like. The zippers all work really well, although the main zipper is on the left instead of the right, must be a European thing. Adjusting cords for waist end in the pockets which is ok, not my favorite, but not terrible. The jacket isn't too noisy when walking. I haven't worn it in a downpour but it seems like it would be fine.

This jacket has features comparable to MH, TNF, Marmot, etc. at a significant discount. I found it basically feature equal to my older Marmot shell which was full Goretex. The hood can be folded into the collar which could not be done with my old shell. I'm very happy with the purchase and now I know JW is fully comparable with the other major players.
