However, it was far more thin and lightweight than I expected. Maybe if you needed just a packable jacket it would be fine.

Personally I am sending it back because it has a somewhat rubberized surface to the fabric and I was expecting something more like Gore Tex fabric.

I bought the purple and it is beautiful in color. I just ordered the blue and it arrives today.
The construction is nice and the fabric is lightweight.
I love that the back of the coat covers my bum and keeps me warm.
I live in the Pac NW and a rain coat is a MUST. This one is truly one of the best I have ever owned.
The only cons I have are: I wish there was some sort of reflective element on the coat AND the pockets were a little deeper.
