5.0 out of 5 stars. Great boot!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Cowgal from Washington (the state) on Monday, January 16, 2017I was a bit concerned reading other reviews but I am extremely happy with my purchase. The boots do run a bit generous but for these I wanted room for warm socks if needed and the 9 1/2 fits well, I am a solid size 9 in most boots and I would say these run true to size. I have an approximately 14" calf, so there is room around the top of the boot, but because of the boot's shape and where it hits my calf, it is flattering and will as well with jeans tucked in as it does with tights and a skirt. The coffee color is nice, a warm brown. Ariat makes a very comfortable boot with good support, which my high arch appreciates! Someone mentioned the boot not being waterproof around the zipper, I doubt it would be given the construction but these are not rain boots meant to be sloshed through puddles, they will work well on wet and rainy days though. I haven't had them long enough to know if there will be issues with the heel, but if so, that is what good glue or a good cobbler is for, things can be repaired. I am expecting these to last a long time, it is one of the most comfortable and flattering boots I have owned.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Brown leatherVerified Buyer Reviewed by Robinfrancs5 from Tn on Wednesday, December 21, 2016The toe of the lining was pretty bunched up and I had to try to straighten it, which worked for the most part, but when you put these on you can't feel it

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great boots - fit and quality!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kathy from Seattle on Tuesday, December 20, 2016These are really nice boots at a great STP price. I wear between a 5.5 and 6.0 and the 5.5 fit nicely and snugly with very little room for anything but light socks (which is perfect for me - they are very comfortable). Very sleek and classic looking with just a touch of trim at the ankle and on the shaft. "Iron" is a great color - sort of a taupe - less grey and a little browner than I expected, but it's a beautiful color that goes with everything, especially since the non-leather material at the back of the calf is black.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Not for slim legsReviewed by Shoelover from Maryland on Thursday, December 8, 2016Lovely boot - beautiful leather and craftmanship. 'Iron' color very versatile and will go with black, brown, and grey clothing. Matte leather that scuffs easily but quickly gives a nice weathered look. I have 13.5" calves, boot had too much room at the top. I would have kept them anyway, but the back is shaped in to an outward curve right where the fabric stretch panel is. I don't fill out the boot anyway so having a stretch panel where it is already too big looks kind of silly and gives an overall 'rain boot' kind of look. Shame, because they were comfortable right out of the box for my slightly wide forefoot with mild bunions, which is rare to find. Definitely recommend for those with more muscular legs or a larger calf measurement. Has that more rugged, casual, equestrian look so hard to dress up - other boots might be more versatile that way.

Birthday presentVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Pennsylvania on Wednesday, October 19, 2016I have been looking at these boots for a long time, found them on here for less than half the price. The boots came when expected and are very nice high quality, fit as expected, could not be happier.
