Haven't got them wet yet but impressed out of the box with my first pair of boa lace up boots. Size 12 is perfect fit for my size 11 foot with neo booties. Easy to switch out soles too is a cool feature, another first for me. Great price here on STP

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great new boots

With the BOA speed lacing system and the interchangeable outsoles, Korkers has scored a home run. With the plethora of wading boots out there I would not have looked at Korkers, however a good fishing buddy has a pair and highly recommended them. I was so pleased, and wound up taking them to Patagonia, Argentina for some flyfishing. They performed admirably and I wouldn't buy any other wading shoe. I especially like the BOA speed lacing system and the interchangeable outsoles.
    Great boots.

These boots are great. The new BOA system keeps boot tighter, and are still the fastest. They have much more support then my last pair of Korkers. They seem to be made of better materials, and craftsmanship seems better, too. My last pair of Korkers lasted 3 seasons then literally fell apart. Pretty sure these will last longer. Only negative is no hook for gravel guards.

I have already written a review about theses boots as they can out of the box.
The stream report isn't any different. These boots are great. My first outing was a long hike over diverse Appalachian terrain with about 2 miles if wading. The boots are comfortable, durable and the soles stick to the rocks as they always do. The rubber soles do take a bit to stick to the slick rocks, but once they get a little wear I feel that they are as good as felt.
The height of the boot makes it a little uncomfortable on the back of my calf. But, I wet Wade 7-8 months wearing Teva's and breathable pants. The extra support of the boots is a nice changes from my last Korkers.

Get these boots while you can. They are a great deal for a great boot

About Korkers

Believe it or not, the first Korkers boots were cobbled together in a small basement workshop more than 50 years ago using scrap rubber, nylon cord and carbide spikes. Shortly thereafter, the now-famous "River Cleats" were born, and this highly functional wading sole system soon became a favorite among local fishermen. Over the years, Korkers wading boots have grown to include amazing innovations like OmniTrax V2 interchangeable sole technology. In addition to trusted performance on the river, Korkers winter boots also provide the same outstanding traction on snowy and icy terrain. When you need maximum grip on the slickest surfaces, this is the footwear brand for you.
