3.0 out of 5 stars. Great starter packVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from WV on Tuesday, April 18, 2017This pack is a great value for a starting overnight trips. Would like to have a "real" water bottle pocket, but I can't complain for the price! It holds my stuff and is adjustable.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Well made, comfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mike D from PNW on Tuesday, March 7, 2017This was a recent purchase, so it has only seen a few miles on a test-fit hike. I've been pleased with all my ALPS Mountaineering stuff, this pack is no exception. It is replacing an older Eagle Creek pack that was a bit too large for me--this thing fits SO much better! I'm 5;10" ~180lbs.. plenty of adjustment to accommodate a range of users.
I'm not typically a fan of top-load only packs, but the addition of the large side pockets on this bag are great. Lets me compartmentalize my gear a bit better, an appreciated feature--wish more packs did this. Not exceptionally light, but I'd say pretty average, and holds gear well. Loaded to 36lbs and did a quick few miles. No complaints. This pack has me pumped to hit the trails this summer!
