It's incredibly comfortable (way better than my old pair of Asics) and stylish (not that being stylish matters so much, but it's still a selling point). I just went for my first run with them, and I just can't get over how nice they are (and did I say comfortable!). The shoe strings have some elastic to them--never seen that before. The lacing mechanism is sound and wraps the foot nicely. I found that as I started to run, my new shoes were propelling me forward. How cool!
Some things that are different about this shoe than advertised: the color of the shoe advertised appears blue/blueish gray or even slightly green and then fades to a lighter color. That's not exactly right. These shoes are gray. There's just the slightest hint of blue to them. They do fade from dark gray at the back (almost black even) to light gray at the front. Still a very nice shoe.

The first pair I ordered was way too tight so I sent them back for a half size larger (12) and they are almost too tight. I am keeping them and just buying some thinner socks or wearing them without socks. They are a good quality, nice looks, and will do for the great price.

For me, they fit well, give good support, and last a long time. Shoes are such a personal product that recommendations from others aren't necessarily useful. But, I'm a long-time fan of New Balance running shoes and this pair continues my history of satisfaction.
