5.0 out of 5 stars. Warm and dryVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Msine on Thursday, January 26, 2017I'm 6'3" 250 and the XXL fits great. Love the thumb slots, removable hood and all the pockets.
Worn it twice, once at 15-20 degrees and once at 32 and sleet, stayed warm and dry.
Fit is excellent, sleeves are long enough for my arms. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Just what I was looking forVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Upstate NY on Tuesday, November 29, 2016I began skiing again last year, and simply used the coat and pants that I had. In the Northeast, we had a pretty mild winter, but ended up skiing about 10 times. I found that while I stayed dry in my winter coat, I was often very hot - my coat doesn't breathe. So this year we looked for new coats for skiing.
I didn't want to spend $300+ on a coat that I'd only wear 10-20 times, so STP was the perfect place to look. I have a winter coat that I love, and wasn't looking to replace it, just not ski in it. This coat from Rossignol has been great so far. I wore it once in our first snow - a cold and very wet day. For an hour, it kept me warm and very dry. Wore it skiing over Thanksgiving weekend, and it worked perfectly. I even used the armpit vents to cool off and they worked perfectly. My only complaint, though minor, would be the size of the neck - there's a ton of space for air to get in. I feel like I could comfortably fit 2-3 neck warmers in there.
The fit is great for me - I'm 5'8", 150lbs, and ordered a medium. I'd say it's a little big, but that's good for movement and layering. I think a small would've been just too tight with extra layers. The sleeves/thumb loops are VERY comfortable - feels like you don't have anything over your hands.
The coat has a lot of extra features - pocket with goggle wiper (I made fun of, then it came in very handy); tons of other pockets including one for an RFID pass, and a comfy snow powder skirt.
I believe I paid about $140 for this coat after discounts. I don't think I could really find a better one for the price, and would recommend to anyone. Size medium probably would fit 5'7"-5'11", and I'd guess up to 185# comfortably.
