Fit like a glove. These shoes are excellent quality. I have wide feet so I bought one size up and they are a perfect fit.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great product from Scarpa

This is my second pair of Mojitos. I bought my first pair about 5 yrs ago and loved them. I needed to refresh them and knowing the original price, I couldn't pass on this deal.

I'm familiar with Scarpa's rock climbing shoes and the mojitos reminded me of the typical design of all-day trad climbing shoes. The long laces really make the shoe very customizable whether you have wide or narrower feet. I have wide feet, so it was easy to loosen the laces all the way to the toes while still keeping a good fit. The suede upper is similar to what you see in many climbing shoes except you get more padding and the shoe is very breathable. The Vibram soles stick like rock climbing shoes. That's one thing I love about them as they make me feel very sure footed. The rubber rand at the toes is nice too when you're scrambling on a steep section. Those are hiking shoes that want to be climbing shoes.

This is not a heavy duty hiking boot that will protect your feet and ankles. Those shoes are better as approach shoes where you need to be nimble and might need to scramble. I've taken them on medium to short hikes, on trips to the climbing crag, and on canyoneering trips with great success.

Sizing felt true to size (M 7.5)

Very, very good shoes, light, durable and reliable. The sole is very tenacious, does not slip on the stones and roots of trees. I used these shoes for small hikes and are very pleased with this shoe.

I bought these to replace a pair my husband bought in Europe a couple years ago. He wore those nearly every day, until a friend's dog got hold of them. The shoes are super comfortable, cool looking, and great for hiking or daily wear.

Like other reviews stated, I went up a size and they fit nicely. Love the look, fit and structure. So far so good for light trail and around the town. A solid purchase no doubt.
