On several occasions I have had to do field tub repairs or replacements. The other smaller hand pumps never seemed to deliver the pressure I needed to properly inflate my tires.
I know the latest thing to use C)2 cartridge systems, but I prefer a hand pump. This one is larger than most so it will need to be mounted on the top tube, which can get in the way of a water bottle. or on the front tube, where it can pick up dirt.
Still if you are looking for a bike pump that can deliver 80 or more PSI, this is the one to get. -
