These fit just right and the material is comfortable. They are more of a mid weight layer as I found myself opening the leg vents on my snowboard pants to cool down for the first time ever.
I'd imagine these would be perfect for cool/cold weather running as well. -

He is 5'8" and weighs 155 ibs. He has worn them alone on warmer days and as a base layer when he is out before the sun.
