She tried them on and could not get her foot in the boot which was bought in her standard size of nine initially. She put on a thin booty sock and was able to get her foot in however, when zipped up they were too tight. The issue was that her ankle bone felt pinched/crushed making them fit "weird." Sadly a wide version was not offered but they are still a beautiful ankle boot which is why I gave them four stars.

This boot is very pretty...too bad I couldn't even get it on! I don't have crankles, wide feet or a high arch, however I couldn't get my foot in just past the end on my toes! The 'neck' of the boot is so narrow and the zipper does not go down far enough to slip your foot in. VERY DISAPPOINTED! It cost me about just as much for shipping and return shipping than the boot. I do 95% of my shopping online. I won't be shopping at Sierra Trading Post again. Expensive learning lesson.

Once on, there was tons of extra room in the front - so if you have a super narrow super, super long foot at size 8.5/9, try the size 8?

Ordered a size 8 and managed with difficulty to get my foot in, but it was much too long. Proportion fail on the opening.
