The laces when tied causes the tongue flap to crumple since it's not reinforced, just a single layer of suede. Ended up returning it.

Very comfortable. These Hush Puppies are a comfortable casual shoe that go nicely with slacks and jeans. They are my first pair of a chucka type shoe and I am not disappointed -- I may even get another colr. They run true to size.

The shoe is beautiful and well made, with nice cushioning in the soles, but the fit was just a bit off in some way. It was too "floppy" in the wrong places, and I could tell the suede would stretch a lot -- the suede is lovely, very soft, but you can tell it will give a lot as you wear it. So I returned and got a similar pair of HP's on STP that are more like a sneaker and ordered one half size smaller and they are REALLY GREAT -- the suede gave way just like I assumed it would and they fit very nicely.

Plenty of room in the toe box for medium to wide feet, the insole provides lots of cushioning and give you a sneaker feel. Shoes fit true to size. The tassel laces look cute.

My only frustration is that, for me, they run a little small so my normal size 8 was snug fitting and the 8.5 a little bigger than I prefer. But I thought they were so cute and comfortable that I kept the bigger size and will buy thicker socks.
