Such a rich color and fit like over Justin boots. However, the calf is way too small. If you don't have athletic calves these might work for you. But there is no way they were going to work for me. Had to return them.

The soles are grippy. As with any "Justin" brand boot, I ordered a half size bigger. The calf part of the upper does run a bit narrow, as some reviewers mentioned. It's comfortably snug on my average sized calves. Overall, these are great boots and I look forward to wearing them for a long time.

The review saying they were tight in the calf was helpful. Wasn't sure if they would fit, but figured I would try. They were indeed a smidge too narrow in the calf, so for $10 I had them stretched for 24 hours at a shoe repair place. Worked like a charm, and between the sale price and the stretch, these were still an amazing bargain! The leather is really beautiful, and the boots are extremely comfortable. Love love love them.

I decided to try them assuming there would be a little give but there was not. There's no elastic gusset and they had no give at all so I could not zip them up. I had to send them back. Otherwise I liked the boots and the price was great for the quality.
