This jacket/vest conversion is pretty awesome. Not only does it have zip off sleeves, but when you are just a little overheat you can open the sleeve zips like vents! Pretty nifty.
The fit seems pretty true, I typically wear a medium and this fits me without any unwanted snugness.
Pockets are nice! 3 out of 4 of the closable pockets are really stable and secure. The hand pockets are deep enough to get your hands away from the cold, and are deep enough to hold anything you might stash temporarily. The hood it roomy but not too big. When fully zipped there is room in the front for your chin keeping the neck really toasty. The snaps are a nice touch to conceal the zipper.
The sleeves are a bit breathable for strong winds, so if the temperature is frosty a long sleeved t-shirt underneath is perfect. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it hangs slightly odd, though not off-putting. I can also feel the zippers for the sleeves beneath my arms, but it honestly is less of a present sensation than I initially imagined.
All in all fantastic jacket, great to keep next to the back door for those doggy bathroom breaks!
