The only downfall is that the ones I received smell like moth balls and I haven’t been able to get that out. But other than that I wear them everywhere and get tons of compliments!

The color was a little darker & more modern looking than traditional blue denim. I mainly bought these because of the front design just to have something a little different ("industrial chic", kind of like people buying condos in converted factories - they don't work in a factory but get some of the same atmosphere). I didn't necessarily need these to be extra rugged but that won't hurt. In my case these are for casual everyday wear, not farm work so I also removed the hammer loop. They are kind of slim but not nearly as slim as I had anticipated (and in this case that was a plus).

They are slimmer than traditional carhartts but still fall pretty straight and loose from the hip all the way down the leg. I do not have excessively thin legs. Very comfortable, durable and great for work, but I wouldn't wear them outside of work. They are a little too baggy to be flattering.

They seem to be cut with more of a straight line, not overly curvy like some of the others. I have a thicker waist and slimmer hip and leg and these fit great. Rugged enough for work around the barn but comfortable enough for all day. I wish they made the same style in a boot cut.
