5.0 out of 5 stars. What's Not to Love

Finally, real pockets in a pant made for a real woman. No ridiculously low waist, double knees, and they match everything. I'm hipster, hip-hop, happy trails and hippy all in one.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great work pants!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Melanie from West Virginia on Friday, December 21, 2018
I was looking for a good work pant that had a slim leg and thought I'd give these a try. I absolutely love them and have now purchased every color. I do HVAC installations and put these pants through the ringer and they are holding up great. They are a little wide at the waist (nothing a belt can't take care of) and are a bit stiff at first but after a few washes they soften up.
I'm 5'4 and 140 lbs with an athletic build. I my opinion, these pants run true to size. I even like these pants enough to wear them outside of work!
Okay.... this is funny. I just noticed that they are factory seconds! If there is a minor defect I didn't notice it! Haha.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Happiness

Glad I found these pants. Will be happy to see how they hold up and glad that they are made from a durable fabric... not whimpy. The trade off of course is that are not super soft yet. (If I was looking for soft I could put on cotton pajamas!) They have plenty of thigh room for me but without looking overly baggy. They are a comfortable fit for me. Triple stitched seams, ample pockets. Good buy from STP!
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Poor Fitting

I am I 5’ 3” approximately 135 lbs woman, I’m normally a size 2-4 in women’s pants. I ordered these in a 4 because they’re work pants so it’s nice to have some more roominess. That was not the case for these pants—I could barely get my legs/thighs squeezed into them. While I had a 3 inche gap at the waist. This type of problem can’t be solved by going up or down a size because it would just exacerbate the other issue. I find this to be a fairly typical issue when looking for a pair of pants but I was disappointed that it occurred with these pants as well.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Weird Fit & holes!
Reviewed by sunnyluna from Maryland on Sunday, December 2, 2018
I purchased these pants from carhartt years ago and was excited to see them for a deal on sierra, however when I opened the package the pants had 2 small holes on the backside that had been poorly repaired with a different color thread then the pant color. I know they are listed as factory seconds, but i was surprised by a "second" this obvious. Also the fit of the pants were a bit off, the waist was loose around the middle while the legs fit fine (much different than my original pair, which was even a size larger) Returning these!
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Bleach stain and weird fit
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jamie from Montana on Saturday, December 1, 2018
I have a pair of Carhartt jeans that I like and that fit well but these were a weird fit - lose around the waist and a little too high waisted. The bigger problem was the bleach stain across the crotch. Returned them but didn't exchange.

Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit.
