I only washed them in warm or cold water and dried on the permanent press setting. The fabric has a nice feel but that is irrelevant if they don't fit the bed.

It takes several washes for them to get softer, and they do wrinkle (100% cotton). I really liked the appearance of these sheets. The grey has a georgeous silver sateen look; much darker then the photo. You can see, but not feel the long staple cotton fibers. I am optimistic that the fabric will not pill.
