5.0 out of 5 stars. Toasty warm and tough!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Crantz from the Burg from Oregon on Thursday, April 13, 2017Very warm jacket. I'm very pleased that I no longer need to wear a sweater under my jacket. I just throw this on over my t-shirt and I'm nice and warm even weather down near 40 degrees. I haven't had the chance to try it in colder temps yet, but I feel that it would do pretty good. Also, I like the tough feel of it. It seems like it wouldn't tear easily. I also appreciate that the hood is not one of those crazy big ones made to cover a snowboarding helmet which makes them pretty much useless without a helmet as they tend to fall down over your eyes. This hood is just right for us normal folk who don't wear helmets all the time.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best Coat EverReviewed by DublinJeffe from Pennsylvania on Thursday, March 23, 2017Bought this as a light packaway for a trip to Ireland in February. Needed something long, warm, packable and relatively water resistant / proof. Got everything I wanted and more. Utility of the coat pockets is ideal. Took advice and bought a size up which was great for sweaters.

4.0 out of 5 stars. A great winter jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Pennsylvania on Tuesday, March 21, 2017This is a really good, lightweight jacket that does a good job of keeping you warm in the coldest, windiest conditions. I feel very comfortable that this jacket would keep me warm with temperatures in the teens. If it were to get colder than that, then you would definitely want to layer up. I ordered this jacket in XL and it does seem to be a tad tight in the shoulders. It would be even more so if you had layers on under this jacket.

5.0 out of 5 stars. PERFORMANCE/VALUEReviewed by TRYDER from NEW YORK on Sunday, January 22, 2017Excellent. After reading the reviews I was expecting a heavier coat. This coat is light weight yet warm 35-30 degrees felt warm and breathable. True fit to size slightly snug but an athletic not bulky feel. I’m a 42R 34/35 medium bld. Jacket is slightly snug but not constrictive. In my opinion it has a sort of a cross combo ski Jacket/hiking jacket feel. Anything below 32 degrees I would recommend a good base layer or layers. When It dips into the 20s and I’m in that NY state of mind, I utilize a packable down jacket as a pre-base layer. Well pleased, would highly recommend.
