They are a little low rise and the waist is not very small, so as the other reviewers pointed out, the fitted calves pull them down without a belt. I wouldn't buy at full price, but I like them for spring. I usually wear a small/6 and the 6 in these fits fine.

Totally tight in the lower leg, which then pulls them down and overall makes the fit very strange. Wanted to love them as the color and fabric are great, and perhaps they would fit a person with shorter legs? But as much as I wanted them to fit this tall body, they went back.

Unfortunately, if you have athletic calves these are a no go. I tried to squeeze into them, but ended up not being able to move!!! These are really a junior size fit.
