3.0 out of 5 stars. Not the right fit for meVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Ohio on Monday, January 8, 2018I've had La Sportiva trail running shoes before, so I was fairly confident that I was ordering the right size from La Sportiva. But these shoes did not fit me at all. They were way too tight in the toebox, and much stuffer than my previous trail running shoes.
La Sportiva makes great shoes, but this was not the right shoe for me. YMMV. -

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good not greatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Bay Area, California on Friday, August 25, 2017The shoes are comfortable, but not as lightweight or flexible as I thought that they might be. I've worn them running only a handful of times and didn't have any issues with hot spots or blisters right of the box. I wear a size 8 in shoes and 8 1/2 in hiking books, but I got these in size 8 and they fit just fine. So far so good.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Didn't work for me so I returnedVerified Buyer Reviewed by sparky from Mid-Atlantic on Tuesday, August 15, 2017So my review is only based on the fit - and everyone's feet are different so I don't know how helpful this is and I really have nothing to base a star-rating on but went with 4. I generally wear an 8 and tried a 39 and then 40 in these. The 39 was too short. The 40 seemed long enough and was definitely wide enough - they have a wide toebox, which I was looking for. However where the turquoise and grey fabrics are sewn together in the toe area there's a seam which was grabbing my toenails when I walked around in them (wearing socks). So I don't know if that's just my foot shape or if anyone else would have that issue but it's why I returned them. The feel of the shoe seemed cushy enough but also to have a stiffer sole that would be good for trails. I wish they had worked.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable and great priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hike runs from Vermont on Tuesday, August 1, 2017I am a big La Sportiva fan and the price was so good on these I decided to try them. They seem to run a little bigger than my Bushido's in the same size. I found these very comfortable but I would only wear them on tame trails like rail trails. I can't feel the trail well enough in these and my feet move around in them a bit too much for more aggressive trails.. I love how cushioned they are and even wore them on the road and found them to work well. The traction on La Sportiva shoes is always excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Roomy for GrannyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Mt. Shasta, CA on Sunday, July 2, 2017A local sport shop here in Mt. Shasta sold these to my mother, after trying them on her, and the toe box was too small for her regular size 9.5. She got a blister fast as she's quit the walker for being 89 yrs. old. Decided to get them online a half size bigger and they are much roomier for her and she's loving them. They are very pretty too. We are very happy with them and they are perfect for walking to the lake and back. The price was better and they shopped fast.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by ElvisD from South Dakota on Sunday, June 4, 2017Prompt delivery. I've worn the shoe almost nonstop since delivery and it appears to be holding up well. The heel and arch have wonderful support. The toe box is very large and I probably could have ordered a half size smaller but there is a seam at the front of the shoe that may rub if they were shorter so opted to keep the shoe rather than return it. Sole has excellent traction and running in these shoes is wonderful. I only run 2-3 miles at a time on gravel or rock trails with low grades.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Trail Shoe!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kathryn from WI on Friday, April 7, 2017Have worn Sportivas before (different style) and liked them but found them feeling a little too "structured" in an ultra. I tried this style on a whim and love them. Tread is still aggressive and shoe overall comfortable. I sized up 1/2 size as I normally would for a running shoe and it was fine.

2.0 out of 5 stars. A Bit NarrowVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from VA on Tuesday, February 28, 2017I have been on the hunt for a comfortable pair of wide trail running shoes for women and I was given the suggestion of trying this model. I usually wear a 7.5 but felt this was particularly narrow and small. Not too much room in the toe box for me. I ended up returning them.
With regard to the STP, they were excellent in customer service and provided guidance on returning the shoes.
