Arc'teryx pays special attention to fit and functionality. These pants are tailored with articulation at the knees, pockets are ample as well as shaped to fit the wearer's form, and a wide waistband that is higher in the back for no gap bending. I wear an 8-10 or medium. I am 5'8" and 135 pounds. I ordered an 8 which fits well. The length is about 32". The fabric is a blend of cotton and synthetic which make for a great travel piece with very little wrinkling and comfortable with the bit of stretch. I recommend these.
