4.0 out of 5 stars. GoodReviewed by Riss from Wasatch mountains, Utah on Thursday, July 5, 2018Runs big. I got the small and it remains very roomy - and I usually fit "exactly" in a small or sometimes go up to medium. Sleeves run a bit long too. I'm ok with that since I'm not looking for a tech fit. I like the longer waist - it's warmer than jackets which terminate at the top of the hips.
The fabric is nice-- seems like it will resist abrasion to some degree. I agree with a "not heavy" description but I would not call this an ultralight and packable jacket. I suppose for the fact of its high fill power, the fabric type (water shedding), and the hood, that makes it pretty packable relative to these features. But don't expect it to pack down like an 800 fill power Patagonia down sweater. It's much more bulky in terms of volume (if not so much in weight). -
2.0 out of 5 stars. Very warm, undesirable fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by KS in KC from Kansas City on Sunday, December 24, 2017This jacket is very warm and fluffy... but the fit is a little ridiculous. You will look like a giant marshmallow with super jumbo arms (medium on 5'7", 145 lbs was alright in the body, but the arms were colossally big and loose like giant inflated tubes). Also, there is no tailoring at the cuff, so there is plenty of space for snow to creep in. This coat could be perfect if you plan some base layers, wrist gaitors, and a lot of hard falls on the mountain. Would cushion well. If using for 'city purposes' (or your regular, multipurpose winter jacket), consider a different fit...

5.0 out of 5 stars. Fantastic Jacket!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Carolyn the Yogi from Wisconsin on Monday, December 18, 2017This is the best jacket I have ever owned for daily use in the winter. It is both amazingly warm outdoors in temps to zero degrees (anything below that and I won't go out anyway), and cool indoors if left on to run errands or grocery shop, etc. I think the weight may have something to do with it because it is likely the lightest winter jacket I have ever owned. I originally bought it for its light weight and packability (it shrinks to fit in a gallon ziplock although it takes a while for the wrinkles to come out if you pack it that small) but found myself wearing it every day that I need to throughout the winter so far.
The fit is also very comfortable, in part because it stretches too. No matter how many layers I have on underneath, I always have complete range of motion in my arms. I am a yoga instructor so that means a lot to me.
The most amazing thing about this jacket, though, is that you get all of these things for an incredible price. I have paid four times this amount for jackets in the past and always found them lacking in some way. I haven't found one thing I don't like about this jacket yet. I even love the matte finish on the black one I own. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Warm, comfy, runs largeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jenn from Washington on Sunday, December 10, 2017I really like this coat. It moves with you and is plenty warm in 20° F temperatures. I’m 5’5” 130 lb with long arms and a log torso, and the small fits with room for a vest or sweatshirt underneath.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Love it!Verified Buyer Reviewed by MtnMama from Montana on Tuesday, November 21, 2017This jacket is really really warm and I love the stretch. I do wish the hood was detachable or folded into the collar, it's a bit puffy.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Top Quality Down JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jeffrey from Philadelphia PA. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017I just bought this for my wife for her birthday. The small fits her perfectly. She is 5"7" and slender. This very warm jacket is a classic/regular fit, such that you can wear a thin sweater or fleece underneath. My wife tells me she is warm a toast and the weather here has been cold and windy lately. Every detail of the jacket is well crafted and quality. I don't know how many are left, but this is an excellent winter jacket ESPECIALLY at the STP price, which was less than the suggested retail. Needless to say, I am very satisfied with this purchase. My wife now has a better down jacket than me.Oh, it is also nicely styled, not too tapered and not too puffy.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Warm and cozy.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from SLC, UT on Friday, November 10, 2017I just received this jacket last week. The coldest temp I've warm it in so far is in the low 30s and it has kept me very warm. I'm 5'6 170lbs with broad shoulders and the size large fits great and with enough room for a hoodie or fleece underneath. I the only negative since it's the wrist cuffs are but very snug so the cold creeps in a little. So I just either wear gloves or stuff my haha in the pockets. Great buy!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Super comfortable and warmReviewed by Cosmic alchemest from WA high desert on Saturday, October 14, 2017This is a very comfortable and warm jacket, it's very stretchy and moves with you when you wear it. I'm 5'3, 140, and the medium fit me, I also bought one of these jackets for my mom, she hasn't gotten hers yet. The only thing I don't like is the hood. It is not adjustable at all, no drawstrings whatsoever, it stays on if I zip it all the way to my chin, but then it's tight around my throat, that's the only part that's constricting and I think that it's because the hood is not lined with stretchy material like the rest of the jacket, so to make this jacket perfect it would need to have the hood lined with the stretchy material and also be adjustable. It does have 3 inside pockets, one that zips, but it's not media compatible. The sleeve length is pretty good for me too, I like the thin elastic cuffs with NO thumb holes, those things never fit my hands right anyway. So overall a great coat. I wish they offered this coat in a parka style too, that would be nice mid January. This jacket covers my butt and has drawstrings at the bottom also to keep wind out. What I do like is that there's absolutely no restriction in the chest or arms, and I'm a size 34 D/DD, that can be a problem for larger chested ladies and jackets, so that's what made me keep the jacket, I'll just have to deal with the tight throat thing or not zip it all the way to my chin. But that only works on non windy days which is never in the high desert, but oh well.
