Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. High quality and comfortable

I work at a camp in the mountains, and I bought this hat to wear in our constantly changing weather conditions.
Fantastic quality and has withstood the active work conditions I undergo daily. Super comfy as well. The earflaps serve their purpose well.
The sizing is accurate also.
Surprisingly, one reviewer said the "materials are low quality and the sizing is wrong". Not sure why they said that, lol; this is the best baseball-style hat I've ever owned.

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. incredibly thin fabric

There is nothing thick or insulating about this hat. Poorest of quality.

Size chart doesn't seem correct either.

Website has alot of complicated passwords, user names and I have to keep clicking on pictures of cars and road signs for some reason.

About Outdoor Research

The concept for Outdoor Research was devised in 1981 when climber Ron Gregg’s planned ascent of Denali was cut short, ending prematurely with his frostbitten partner being airlifted off a glacier. The cause was a faulty pair of gaiters. During his descent, Gregg resolved himself to create better gear, a resolution that soon led him to build the first pair of award-winning Outdoor Research gaiters. The concept was simple: Make outdoor apparel and gear with a clear focus on reliability. In the many years since, this brand has continued to blaze new trails with cutting-edge products that now include Outdoor Research gloves, jackets, backpacks and Outdoor Research hats, all engineered to exceed expectations in the most demanding conditions on the planet.
