5.0 out of 5 stars. Superb Weather Pant

I've worn them in wind and then again in rain. Great performance, and the best part is the full side-zips [sealed] which allow for a fast "on" when snagging them from the pack. Superb fit for me, but I added suspenders [[$]] to ensure no slips with undergear...

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Amazing product for price!!!

Unfortunately these are not actually PacLite pants. Gore text and a great product for sure. I own a PacLite jacket from a different manufacture. The obvious difference is under the external gore tex logo on my jacket it has a PacLite logo. Also the material is completely different, albeit goretex!

I have skied with them two full days so far and they have keeps me dry while skiing under wet snow guns. Not insulated which I prefer as I ski exclusively in merino base layer.

My favorite feature is the seam seamed watertight FULL length zipper.

Great pant. It is well designed with a great full length side zipper. I wish that it came with suspenders as the pants seem to run a little big in the waist. I like the internal gaiter. It will be great for skiing. Thanks Sierra for another great price on a great product.

About Outdoor Research

The concept for Outdoor Research was devised in 1981 when climber Ron Gregg’s planned ascent of Denali was cut short, ending prematurely with his frostbitten partner being airlifted off a glacier. The cause was a faulty pair of gaiters. During his descent, Gregg resolved himself to create better gear, a resolution that soon led him to build the first pair of award-winning Outdoor Research gaiters. The concept was simple: Make outdoor apparel and gear with a clear focus on reliability. In the many years since, this brand has continued to blaze new trails with cutting-edge products that now include Outdoor Research gloves, jackets, backpacks and Outdoor Research hats, all engineered to exceed expectations in the most demanding conditions on the planet.
