The wool in the sweater is noticeable, but not itchy (I have worn a t-shirt underneath). The body and neck fit rather loosely, but it does not look unflattering. I am 5' 8" and 140 lb and ordered the small which is a good fit. I am tall and the sweater sleeves and body are long enough. Although the fabric is thin, it is fairly warm!

You would want to wear a turtle neck under the sweater because the blend is a bit itchy without. I loved it so much I purchased a second in a different color.

You need to wear something under it because of the mohair, it looks great with a t-neck.
