I ordered a large, I wear a 8-10 in tops and this fit well. Not a very thick sweater, but pretty color and design. Would buy again!

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. OK but not great

This sweater runs large: the neck opening is too tight for me and the body is too loose and wide, the sleeves and the length is good. I like fitting tops in the winter to keep me warm. I usually wear M in Royal Robbins tops, being Merino wool does not itch but is somewhat on the thin side, I would have go for the S if the head opening was not so tight.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice sweater

The sweater is well designed and well made. I like the knit pattern, but overall it doesn't fit me. I usually order an XL to get enough length in the sleeves and width across the shoulders, but the sleeves are way too long by a few inches. Overall, it's too big for me. I'm 5'9" about 190 lbs. It's a long style sweater, but too long for me. Rather than send it back, I'll donate it to someone who fits the dimensions better than me.

    Lightweight yet warm.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Yes, it's big

Great color. Fabric is somewhat flimsy although the maker would probably prefer filmy and it is big. I usually wear a medium but I got the large and it's 42 in. at the hips so be warned. That said, I like my sweaters big so I'm keeping it.

About Royal Robbins

By the late-1960s, veteran Yosemite rock climber Royal Robbins and his wife Liz had grown tired of wearing cutoff jeans on the crag. At the time, apparel designed specifically for outdoor adventure was virtually non-existent. After years of wishing for something better, the couple finally decided to create their own, starting with a pair of climbing shorts called the “Billy Goat.” This was the beginning of Royal Robbins’ clothing revolution. Today, nearly 50 years later, Royal Robbins outdoor clothing is as rugged and reliable as ever. When you buy a Royal Robbins sweater or shirt, or a Royal Robbins pair of pants or shorts, you can bet it will fit great, whether you’re climbing in the Sierra Nevadas, camping in the backcountry or relaxing in your own backyard.
